My name is Eran Magen. I believe in relationships, and I believe in people. I consider it my life’s mission to help people have better relationships – with each other, and with themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was born in the US and grew up in Israel. I moved back to the US in my early twenties, and worked for a while doing homeless outreach in NYC with the Bowery Residents Committee. I then went to graduate school, where I received my MA in education<\/strong> and PhD in psychology<\/strong> from Stanford University, and then completed post-doctoral training in population health<\/strong> as a Robert Wood Johnson Health & Society scholar. I then served as the research director<\/strong> for the department of Counseling and Psychological Services<\/strong> at the University of Pennsylvania, before peeling off to do my own thing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve worked as a consultant and trainer for some of the largest school districts in the USA (helping teachers form stronger relationships with students), as well as with some of the most prestigious medical schools and hospitals in the USA (helping doctors form stronger relationships with patients).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to doing this work, I am the founder and CEO of a wellness monitoring \/ suicide prevention service called Early Alert<\/a>, which is used by dozens of medical schools, hospitals and first-responder agencies around the USA. I am also on the advisory board of the Jed Foundation, a national non-profit that protects emotional health and prevents suicide for teens and young adults in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I really, really like dogs.<\/p>\n<\/div>
